The Interview on Christmas Day

We are totally buying into the marketing ploy and are going to watch The Interview on Christmas Day lol They got us!!!

If this whole thing really was a marketing ploy, it is the most brilliant marketing campaign - not only getting people who would have not watched it in the theater, but also in countries, which are not a target audience like Europe. It is also only scoring 55% on Rotten Tomatoes, which would be another good reason to go for a wacky smart marketing campaign. I can't wait to see the numbers!!

I have to say I am glad that Sony is releasing after all. I was shocked when I first heard about the theater release being canceled. It just set such a bad precedent and sent the wrong message that by force one could control our freedom of speech.

George Clooney tried his best with a petition. I wonder if this had anything to do with Sony deciding to at least go for a VOD release. See link to article below:
