Women Creating Change (WCC) needed to amplify their mission of building a multicultural community of Middle Eastern and North African (MENA) women in entertainment. The challenge was to develop and implement a robust branding and communications strategy that would elevate WCC’s visibility, enhance community engagement, and support the organisation’s expansion into new programmes, events, and fundraising initiatives.

As Director of Communications, I spearheaded the creation of a comprehensive branding and communications strategy that included refreshed visual identity, targeted messaging, and engagement tactics designed to appeal to WCC’s core audience. This strategy encompassed community events, new programme offerings, and a digital presence overhaul, positioning WCC as a vital resource for MENA women in entertainment. Our approach was centred around fostering collaboration, professional development, and storytelling to build a strong, supportive network.

The communications strategy was instrumental in WCC’s growth, amplifying their audience by 500% and increasing social media impressions by 7,500%. This significant boost in visibility and engagement enabled WCC to expand their influence, support more members, and attract greater attention within the industry, furthering their mission of empowering MENA women in entertainment.
